Matt Ward played midfelid for Virginia in 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006. He started all of his years and scored 45+ goals each year. He won the Tewaaraton Trophy in 2006 and he won MLL rookie of the year in 2006 playing for the Bayhawks. Not only did he win those trophies but he was also honored to be a three time all-american in his four years at UVA. Right now Matt Ward is a starting at midfeild for the Bayhawks.
